The food is fresh and delicious, and they serve their extensive breakfast menu until 2 p.m. Lunch features a nice array of burgers and salads, at rather low prices.

Kihei Rd., Kihei, HI 96753 Phone: 808-879-2230 The only thing that I love more than the great view for people watching at the Kihei Caffe is their coffee and boy do they have great coffee! We’re talking always hot, fresh and caffeinated. Kihei Caffe is (obviously, according to our readers) the best place on the island to sit with their cup-o-joe on a sunny morning and watch crazy pedestrians, dedicated joggers and people in bathing suits scoot around on South Kihei Rd.
Address: 1945 S. Kihei Rd., Kihei, HI 96753 Phone: 808-879-2230 What’s amazing about Kihei Caffe is that, as crowded as it gets—and it gets crowded, especially on weekends—a table always seems to open up right when you need one. Sure, sometimes it’s one of the little wobbly ones and you’ve got to rub elbows with your dining companions, but you won’t be worrying about that as you wolf down a stack of banana mac nut pancakes or a gooey bite of hollandaise-slathered eggs Benedict. The proximity of Kihei’s many beaches means you can hop in the water (after waiting the requisite half-hour, of course) for a little post-breakfast float. Sounds like a Saturday to me. 1945 S. Address: 1945 S. Kihei Rd., Kihei, HI 96753 Phone: 808-879-2230 People-watching on South Kihei Road is awesome; the parade of pink-skinned tourists, scantily-clad beachgoers and colorful local characters provides an endless source of amusement. And the outdoor, sidewalk-hugging seating at Kihei Caffe offers the perfect vantage point. But I digress. The category isn’t Best Place to Oogle Strangers, it’s Best Breakfast, and on that count the Caffe delivers (maybe it’s the extra “f”?). Whether you’re hankerin’ for a fluffy stack of banana mac nut flapjacks or a worchestershire-slathered Benedict, they’ve got it, served with aloha (and, if you want, a side of bacon). Space can sometimes be tight during the morning rush, but if you have to wait a few minutes for a table, there’s that people-watching to keep you occupied.
