, a semi-fictionalized account—it stars Heath Ledger and Johnny Knoxville, if that tells you anything—of the teenage surfers who pioneered "extreme sports" in Venice, California. Like all morality tales, they lived the good life, thrilling in their newfound hobby until it got to be big business and then they started battling each other for power and money.
