The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill
is a true story of a man born and raised in Washington State, whose travels eventually took him to San Francisco. He attempted to make it there as a poet/singer/songwriter. Unfortunately, his attempt was in vain. His name is Mark Bittner. After his original plan failed, he sought "enlightenment" on the streets for 14 years. During this time he discovered a flock of wild parrots with which he felt a connection.
