The Golden Girls needs serious revamping. Hilary Duff will finally get the chance to hone her acting skills as the wry, butt of too many she-could-be-a-man jokes Dorothy (Beatrice Arthur). Lindsay Lohan is well equipped to tackle the role of Dorothy's salty Sicilian mother Sophia (Estelle Getty). Paris Hilton is perfect for the job as promiscuous Southern belle (read: bitchy ho) Blanche (Rue McClanahan) and Jessica Simpson is a natural as the sweetly naive—a.k.a. knucklehead—Rose (Betty White), the only virginal, denture-wearing septuagenarian on her block to rock denim cut-offs and oiled cleavage.
