"ANNIHILATION OF THE WICKED"
Finding new ways to approach a highly sophisticated genre of music such as death metal is becoming increasingly difficult. For some metal fans, speed and intensity is all that's needed, while others like the slow breakdowns that they can mosh to. Annihilation of the Wicked has something for everyone and illustrates clearly why Nile is at the top of the heap of death metal. Fusing ancient Egyptian texts, sinister vocals, fast and furious fretwork with unbelievably even faster drumming, Nile comes across as a heavier version of Iron Maiden.
