Through Halloween at the Wharf Cinema Center, Lahaina. This year's haunted house is bigger, better and scarier than ever. The Haunted House is open from 6-10 p.m. on weekdays and from 1-10 p.m. on weekends and Halloween night. $8 adults, $5 kids. For info, call 667-9175.
"Itty Bitty Halloween Party"
Thu, 10:45-11:45 a.m. at Maui Family YMCA, Kihei. A parade of costumes, songs and trick-or-treating throughout the YMCA offices—all at a safe place where children can have fun. Pumpkin Carving Contest
Sat, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Lahaina Cannery Mall. Show your creative skills by bringing your already carved jack-o-lantern to be on display in the mall through Halloween. Judging will be based on creativity and originality. The top three winners will receive mall gift certificates in the amounts of $150, $100, and $75. 18 and older. Registration forms are available at the mall.
Paradice Bluz Pre-Halloween Bash

Upcountry's Halloween Bash
Sat, 9:45 p.m. at Casanova's, Makawao. Local band Khrinj along with Oahu's Hell Caminos Rockabillys and Dagra will be waking the dead and keeping up the neighbors. Halloween Cruise to Lahaina

Kenny Takashima Halloween Shootout
Mon, 7 a.m. shotgun start from Lahaina Harbor, lines out at 4 p.m. This is the 4th annual fishing tournament, sponsored by Shell. Last year's prize totaled nearly $51,000 and this year is expected to be even greater. Fishing for Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin and Ahi; the biggest fish takes all! Keiki Costume Parade
Mon, 4:30 p.m. Participants of the West Maui Soroptimist Club's and Lahaina Rotary's Annual Children's Costume Parade should meet at Lahaina Center. Hundreds of tiny spooks and superheroes will make their way down Front Street to Kamehameha Iki Park where they will receive a parade ribbon and a free bag of goodies to start off their night of trick-or-treating.
Kids Night at the Cannery
Mon, 5-8 p.m., Lahaina Cannery Mall. A spook-tacular evening of entertainment and activities for the kids. There's a keiki costume contest, prizes, creepy photos and trick-or-treating at the stores throughout the night. Free.
Lahaina Costume Contest
Mon, 7 p.m. at the Banyan Tree, Lahaina. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. Visitors and residents will strut their stuff at the Maui Tacos Great Halloween Costume Contest. $1,000 cash prize, free activities, dinners and more. $20 per entry.
Masquerade Disco Ball
