Mad Hatter's Tea Party

Saturday, 12:30-5:30 p.m. at Kula Lodge

April 27, 2006
[FESTIVAL] I was driving the backside to Hana the other day and enjoying the scenery when I noticed some amazing trees just doused in purple flowers and couldn't remember what they were called... Oh yeah, Jacaranda, of course! Now I remember. There's a festival for them, too. It's the 2nd Annual Jacaranda Festival "Tea Party." Not only will there be food, jewelry, door prizes and music from the Hula Honeys, there'll also be some contests. One of which is for the best "Jacaranda Outfit" and the other for "Most Spectacular Hat." Ever hear that pick-up line? "Baby, you're ass is so fine I could where it like a hat." Yeah, don't do that for the festival. It's a family affair. [HEIDI KING]
