[ART] An exhibit inspired by Japanese culture, using photography, mixed-media, oil and collage to capture the various moods and expressions of its people, places and unique customs. Live Taiko drumming by the Watanabe Taiko Drummers (makes sense), with Japanese pupus and spirits. Featured local artists include: Rhonda Aquino, Kenn Briner, Kirk Kurokawa (winner of the 2006 Schaefer Portrait Challenge), Brad Huck, Lori Koprowski and Carolyn Quan. The Quan Gallery is located at 900 Front St., between the Hard Rock and Ruth's Chris. Call 667-2757.
