[PHOTO EXHIBIT] Kirsten Guenther, our totally awesome '80s model for this year's Best Of issue, is also something of an artiste du monde. Her art, photos capturing the beauty in ragged form, is on display at her first-ever solo exhibit at the Livewire. It's a photographic exhibition taking turn of the century processes—cyanotype and van dyke brown contact printing—and applying it to modern day imagery in addition to good ole‚ dark room black and white prints. This opening reception will feature a loungey mix of art, wine, cheese, poetry and the spintastic DJ Durty. A 21 and over event. BYOB. $5 donation. The Livewire Cafe is located at 612 Front St., Lahaina.
