[FOOD FEST] If you make it to Whaler's Village this weekend, you'll be greeted with the sweet smell of fresh Maui onion rings being fried to perfection at the 17th Annual Maui Onion Festival. An open market will make fresh produce, flowers, onions salsas and hot sauces all available. Don't forget to sign up for the onion-eating contest, the perfect way to impress a date and totally ensure a hot make-out session for later. You can also meet artists Garry Palm, Monica and Michael Sweet, Danny Braddix Jr., Rob DeCamp and Jimmie Hepp. Also witness chef demonstrations and the Maui onion recipe contest.
