So, just wanted to thank you for firing me on my birthday. I especially enjoyed finding out from someone who doesn't even work there. Then again, maybe you did me a favor: at least I got out before the ship sunk. I knew the company wasn't doing well when we were forced to work with customers in the dark with no AC because we had to stay "on a budget." Here's a thought: you could save real money by eliminating all managers who get stoned on the clock, spread rumors about their employees, plan their weddings while on the clock or use their time to be tweaked-out, bitchy control-freaks jacked up on coffee and cigarettes. While you're at it, consider taking Human Relations 101. Don't treat your employees like slaves, thieves or idiots. Bad word of mouth and high turnover can be very costly.
