[MUSIC/FASHION] A movement is defined as a collective effort for a social or political reform. It's also defined as the stylistic representation of motion in a work of art. Translation? A new line of hoodies and T-shirts, and a slammin' party to premiere them, of course! The graphic design-textile-photographic-artistic lovechild of Kainoa, Sean and Karl, Muvment is a super young upstart clothing company intent on designing fashion as a form of expression as well as a creative outlet to educate and perpetuate cultural awareness. They're utilizing local artists for limited edition tees, eventually paving the way to gear your bod with expression from head to toe. Their premier party will feature local roots reggae greats, Inna Vision, the fabu hip-hop crew of Amphibeus Tungs (pictured right), the bluesy rock powerhouse of Voodoo Suns and Guerilla Jazz. $15.
