Eh Brah

This Week's Eh Brah!

January 25, 2007
You may have been dumb, but at least you were honest. "I get seasick," you told me as you climbed aboard for your dinner and sunset cruise. "Where is the best place for me to be?" You have no idea how hard it was to keep from replying, "On land?" So we fed you ginger ale and ginger candy to help settle your stomachs. Why then did you have to hit the buffet and load up your plates? Were you really surprised when you threw out or up most of the food. Not that we're complaining—crewmembers are always happy to clean up messes like that. Here's some free advice: the next time you decide you want a romantic meal, how about just sticking to one of the many nice restaurants on Front Street or South Kihei Road. That way you can have a nice meal and then stroll over to the dock or beach and watch the sunset. In case you didn't know, being new to the island and all, you can see the sun setting just as well from the shoreline as you can from a boat. The only difference is the land doesn't move, allowing the food and drink you paid for to stay where it's supposed to be.
