[COMEDY] This weekend showcases the Asian Kings of Comedy, which features local comedian Paul Ogata (and winner of "the funniest Asian-American Comedian in the U.S." at the nationwide TakeOut Comedy Competition), one of the godfathers of Asian-American standup comics and lactose-intolerant sufferer Shecky Wong from Showtime, laid-back Filipino comedian Edwin San Juan from BET, and the edgy Korean comic with middle-class Irish parents, Kevin Shea from Jimmy Kimmel Live, who says (in a July 8, 2005 San Francisco Chronicle article), "People need to know that Asian comedy is about more than Dat Phan."
