Eh Brah
This Week's Eh Brah!
|
May 10, 2007 I cannot believe a family like yours can
exist here on Maui, regardless of how much money you inherited from
"dear old dad." I worked my butt off trying to bring your failing
business in Kahului up to "profit status." And I did it in a HUGE
way! Don't you remember the profit numbers? Obviously not, since
you repaid me by spreading lies that I stole from you. Now I never
stole one lousy cent from you and you know that, because we regularly
sat in the office of the best accountant on this island while she
summarized the books and told you what a "great job" I was doing and
how the business was finally making lots of money. P & L's don't
lie, she said, and she was right. Just because I wanted to leave to try
my own thing, your coked-out brother—which everyone knows
about, by the way—got butt hurt and started telling lies. You
have not broken my spirit, but it hurts my feelings every time
someone tells me what you're saying. I really feel you and your
family owe me an apology.
