Maui County

The Agenda

Maui Planning Commission

May 17, 2007
Tues., May 22, 9 a.m.

For some dumb reason, the agenda was unavailable at press time.

Planning Conference Room, First Floor, Kalana Pakui Building, 250 S. High Street, Wailuku

Maui County Council

Tues., May 22, 10 a.m.

Condolences to the late George Tsutomu Ito, some discussion of the

mayor's salary, a word or two on $37 million in public improvement

bonds and then a word or two on some proposed development at Kaunakakai

on Molokai that would change land currently zoned "open space to

public/quasi-public."

8th Floor Council Chamber, Kalana OMaui Building, 200 S. High Street, Wailuku

Animal Control Board

Wed., May 23, 9 a.m.

Short agenda this week. In fact, it's really just a couple appeals

of some new "Dangerous Dog Designations." The first is from Stuart and

Irene Wilson regarding their dog CODA, and the second deals with two

dogs—PUNKIHANA and MOKIHANA—belonging to Monserrate Del Dago. Forgive

me, but I find this funny: we shoot, bomb and otherwise blow up human

beings accused of being terrorists, but let dogs go through legalistic

appeal processes when we deem them threats to society.

Fourth Floor Conference Room, Kalana O Maui Building, 200 S. High St., Wailuku
