July 19, 2007 [COMEDY] I can't quite explain it, but I think that Korean comedian Kevin Shea (yeah, his adoptive parents are Irish) is hot. Like chili-pepper kim chee hot. This is weird because I don't usually dig on Asian guys so much. Take no offense if you're a Wang, Yamada or Cho—I had a bad experience with a half-Japanese guy when I was younger. He tore out my heart, impaled it on the tip of his surfboard and proceeded to hang-10 into the sunset. Bastard. Anywho... Kevin Shea is fricking hilarious. He's hitting the island with fellow funnnymen Bobby Lee, Dr. Ken and Steve Byrne in their "The Kims of Comedy" tour. Oh, and by the way, these guys tend to be on the raunchy side, so unless you want your 10-year-old going home simulating butt sex with a microphone, leave the kid with a sitter. You have been warned. Tickets: $37, $27. Maui Arts & Cultural Center, One Cameron Way, Kahului, 242-7469. [LILIANA BEGLEY]
