[PLANT SALE] Did you know that there are a thousand different types of plants native to Hawai`i? That seems like a lot to me, but then again, I know nothing about plants. I did want to be a botanist as a kid, but that was only until I found out that growing "Daddy's plants" was illegal. Anyhow, Maui Nui Botanical Gardens is holding a huge native plant sale. We're talking stuff like ohi`a lehu, `awa, `uki`uki and up to 25 different varieties of taro. Last year they completely sold out, so go extra early. For more information call: 249-2798. [STARRBEGLEY]
