Don't  OP (Over Pineapple)
Saturday (Sept. 22) from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Maui Pineapple Cannery on Wakea Ave. Kahului

September 20, 2007
[EVENT] Is there such a thing as too much pineapple? I'd have to say no, but that's just because I'm planning on overdosing on the sweet, sticky, gold stuff this weekend at the Maui Pineapple Festival and Homecoming. Everything there–the food, crafts and keiki playzone–will be pineapple-related. It's also the public's last chance ever to tour the Kahului pineapple cannery. And there will be a "Memory Lane" photo exhibit, live entertainment and complimentary tours of the Hali`imaile and Honolua plantations. Last year 5,000 people showed up to celebrate all things pineapple. Admission and parking are free. Visit www.pinefest for more info.
