December 06, 2007 You’ve got quite a little bike shop going—why rip people off? I bought one of your old tour bikes, and I admit the deal sounded too good to be true. Your salesman said the “titanium” frame alone was worth the $1,500 asking price. Yeah, right: I haven’t even had one decent ride on the bike. When I brought it back you guys told me tough luck. So I took it to another shop—one with a good reputation for repair work—and they told me that it needed at least $700 in work to make it right: new wheels, chain rings, etc. Look, here’s what happened: I’m a woman and you took advantage of me. Now I’m out my hard earned savings for my dream bike. You’re relatively new to the island, but you’ll find out that word travels fast. Look forward to hearing from the better business bureau and possibly even a lawyer.
