I sat near you at a menehune basketball game this weekend, but then had to listen to you yell at the referees the whole time. Are you kidding me? These are 12 to 14 year-old-kids. To top it off, you were wrong about rule on the “out-of-bounds timeout miscue.” But that didn’t stop you from yelling so loud that the referee actually looked up into the stands and stared at you. That’s when you lost whatever was left of your credibility. I was embarrassed—how could you not have been humiliated? I thought that maybe you were just an overzealous parent, but after the game I saw you leave alone. I know that you were in the stands when the players read the Code of Conduct at the beginning of the game. So what was your excuse?
