May 08, 2008 I just want to thank the obnoxious, rude man I saw at the big Wailea resort pool a few weeks ago. If you hadn’t been so loud and arrogant, I never would have seen just how friendly and professional the resort staff could be. You were there for some function put on by a local company, and I was there with my children. I was appalled when you started yelling “I want my bar service now! I want a lounge chair on the grass! I want! I want! I want!” You went on like that forever. The staff tried to tell you that they didn’t allow chairs on the grass and that your bar service would come with everyone else’s, but then you started throwing your weight around, saying you were a big shot with the company putting on the function. Let me tell you something: that company isn’t all that popular on this island right now, so you might want to be careful when you brag about that in the future. As for the resort staff, I’m sorry you have to deal with people like that.
