EHBRAH

May 15, 2008
I was never so shocked as the other day when I was at Big Beach. There I was, minding my own business, playing backgammon with my fella while sunbathing topless. Then a group of three boogie boarders sauntered by. “Oh, didn’t you know the nude beach is over the hill?” one of the topless men had the nerve to tell me. I didn’t honor his remark with a retort. Who died and made him king? Besides the fact that he didn’t know the definition of nude, his blatant sexism pissed me off. Women have just as much right as men to be topless at a public beach, and courts here in Hawai‘i and nationwide have consistently upheld this right. Moreover, what kind of guy complains when he sees a topless woman?! If this is your idea of flirting, go back to charm school!

Not everyone cares for all boobs. You seem to fail to let us know if your "fella sunbather" was even worth looking at. Why does that matter? Some people should keep their clothes on. Maybe the bobyboarder was being polite and letting you know that if you want to engage in such activities it might be socially correct to do it over the hill. Maybe next time some "uncle" will kick your lilly-ass because he dosen't care if your "rights" are infringed over the goodness of his kids. Or just ask the bodyboarders to wiggle their man-hoods in your face and see how you like it. Idiot !!

Ummm...I really doubt he was flirting w/ you. I love the titties, if they're attached to someone hot. Or atleast someone I can look at, without wanting to claw my eyes out. So, take a moment to look down. Are your boobs pert and almost gravity defying? Actually, they don't even need to be that. They (the girls and you) just have to be decent. Are you?
But, you're right. It's legal. Topless women are allowed on Hawai'i public beaches. So are ugly people. Shucks.

So this is our beauty obsessed culture come full circle. If you don't got it don't flaunt it? That is SO regressive, and infers that if your not worth looking at, cover it up. This is why there are teens going for face lifts, boob jobs and after all that, having a complex because they're not "perfect". Sad how our society has gotten. If you don't have the Bucks to adjust your looks, don't bother going to the beach.

If some dude, any dude was walking around with his wang out, I am sure you'd be offended. Eh'Brah......he's makin it such a bigger deal than it should be. Who cares what people say. If you're happy then why write a complaint to the paper ? Again, not everyone looks good naked. Hell even after surgery, some people still look bad naked. This isn't regressive thinking, this is consideration for other people.

    Boobs are not dicks

This is ridiculous. Why would any one compare a cock to a breast. Showing your boobs will never be as offensive as showing your junk. As for your kids, they just recently got done considering their mama's breast a thing of worship, no matter what it looked like. Next time one of you boys finds that a woman's boobs in public makes you uncomfortable, you should try wearing a damp bathing suit top.

Even as a hot-blooded male of questionable morals, I can lay witness: There are times in which I do not want to see boobs. A certain type of boob, for sure. And yes, the culture in which we live in is very beauty-biased, but then again--that's a universal concept.

Additionally, boobs can easily be compared to the cock. One of the reasons why we view penises as so offensive, is well, they don't look so asthetically pleasing to most people. Testicles, for example, most oft times are saggy and wrinkled. If this specimen of female had titties like testicles, I'd be offended, no matter how much I usually adore those delicious mounds of woman flesh.

Furthermore, what I see is this: This woman is complaining about how her right to bare it all/ expression was infringed upon. The bodyboarder was just expressing his opinion too.

The last line in my previous post was definitely "tongue in cheek" so to speak.I believe we should all be proud of all that God has bestowed upon us. We are all unique in this unique world. And despite what you'd think, if I Indeed saw an exposed "wang" on the beach, I would discreetly look and probably give a sly smile-gosh I believe I've done that before! (surfed many times at Little Beach)

I certainly didn't mention cocks, penises, breasts or sagging testicles. I'm appalled!
