November 19, 2009 I could tell you all about the legendary Yvonne Elliman. About how this local girl went on to perform on Broadway and was nominated for a Golden Globe award for Best Actress. I could tell you about how in 1974 she met Eric Clapton, sang background vocals for him and even co-wrote "Get Ready" with him. I could tell you about how she was chosen to perform the Bee Gees' "If I Can't Have You" for the soundtrack of Saturday Night Fever. It would be very easy to tell you that this extremely talented woman will be performing at Gian Don's on Wednesday, and that you should definitely not miss it.
