Eh, Boss Hog—eff you! You don't have to aggressively pull out your nightstick to reassure me that skateboarding on the sidewalk is prohibited. A simple friendly remark could've handled the situation, but instead you had to show your nacho-macho in front of the luau girls. You had nothing against me legally, yet you acted as if you wanted to fight! You're a fat slob who needs to realize that to be happy you have to be nice to people—me skateboarding didn't hurt anything and should not have offended you so harshly. This Eh Brah! won't make you happy, but I hope it makes you less of a jerk.

to bad he didn't stick your skateboard up your ass, maybe then you would not ride your stupid skateboard where you shouldn't. You know, places with signs that say "no skateboarding".

    Outlaw
    December 11, 2009 | 03:26 AM

Its funny how as a society we decide to outlaw a whole activity because some abuse it. I mean, it's not like people skateboarding and grinding on rails and concrete can't be cited or arrested for destruction and damage of property. We have to go and outlaw the thing that SOME people are using to damage things.

Similarly, we don't need a law banning drinking on the beaches because SOME people get rowdy. There are already laws prohibiting disruptive behavior. Let's use those FIRST and see how they work instead of coming down like sledgehammer on a fly.

We already have a plenty of laws that protect against disruption and destruction. We just need lazy cops to use their heads and perhaps actually read and understand the laws they are sworn to uphold. However, even that seems to be too much.

Bass Ackwards we are. so now we all pay.

It must have been Tim in front of the Old Lahaina Luau. He's a little gun shy after being hit by a rear view mirror.

Only SOME people kill while driving drunk, but thats against the law. Whats up with that!

I'm pretty sure most people rather not be run over by a skater on the sidewalk.
You wouldn't think it be wise to allow bikers on a sidewalk or motor cyclists would you? There's a reason why they've opened up some pretty nice skate parks.

    December 13, 2009 | 02:36 PM

I had 1 friend get a DWI in Cali on a skateboard for cruising down the sidewalk .. He was only 15! .. Some cops look for easy prey. .. Like when Taguma followed, and gave me a seatbelt sitation from the Kaahumano parking lot to the MCC parking lot across the street .. I was in the wrong but WTF?

    me again
