To the power-drunk mall security guard that told my eight-year-old son he couldn't play on the big rubber sea creatures at the Kaahumanu Center cuz he was like a centimeter over the "you must be this short" sign: I'm sure it's painful to have flunked out of real police school and be forced to patrol the food court with nothing but a walkie-talkie and fake badge, but next time how 'bout you don't take it out on an innocent keiki who just wanted to have fun with his friends?

HEY PAL, THE GUY GETS PAID FOR DOING HIS JOB AND FOLLOWING ORDERS. MAYBE IF YOU FOLLOWED THE RULES , YOU WOULD'NT HAVE A CONFRONTATION TO BEGIN WITH; THEN AGAIN YOU COULD COMPLAIN TO THE MANAGEMENT AND HAVE THE RULES CHANGED TO SUIT YOURSELF!! COMMON SENSE?

    MAKE MY DAY.

Oh no! You're kid couldn't ride the dolphin. How will he ever survive? Now he'll be in therapy well into his 40s. I got news for you, the world does not revolve around your precious little offspring. To the rest of us he's just another annoying brat that will grow up to be as much of a pain in the ass as hi parents.

Are you kind of like saying, "I was only driving 5mph over the limit"; or, "I have evrything but the tax. Can't you just sell me the burger, bra?"; or, "I'm only 5 days late on my rent"; or, "my carry-on is only 3 lbs over the limit"; or, "I gotta go to work. Can I just cut to the front"; or........?

    If this is true...

it's the first I've ever heard of big kids getting kicked off the Kaahumanu play land. Every time I take my four-year-old daughter there, the place is CRAWLING with kids 10, 11, 12, 13 years old. Usually they're good about not knocking over the little guys, but sometimes they're not.

There are a lot of playgrounds on Maui for bigger kids. This one is clearly for toddlers and little kids. If the mall actually starts enforcing its own rules I'll be happy. But if it's just once in a while, it's unfair and inconsistent.

Karen Yukie Yamada is not the "asian woman" who smokes pot on ag properties in the jungle. That is Tiana. Karen Yukie Yamada is experiencing extreme hardship as a result of unemployment forced on her by the conscious choice of living a life of conscience. The FBI and all relevent agencies in Hawaii have been notified by email, certified letter and numerous phone calls. This ain't no joke.

8 YEAR OLD!! You must cry more than your kid! It is for LITTLE kids. Your 8 YEAR OLD would likely run over a 1 or 2 year old and break a bone as I have seen many unsupervised kids who are too big and run too fast and don't pay attention to toddlers. You should thank them for keeping you out of court.

First of all, when someone says that their child is innocent. That the child that does wrong. Second don't you put down someone's job. At lease he has a job. So thank you to the security guard for doing your JOB.......
