Perhaps you think it is no big thing that you no longer have senior citizen coffee for 73 cents at your fast food burger joint on Dairy Road. It seems OK to you, the manager, to go out and get in your BMW Roadster with your real estate husband, who openly brags that he "makes more money than the President of the United States." But woe to the senior citizens who want a cup of Joe with their meal. We got no raise on our Social Security this year! Has it ever occurred to you that senior citizens have made it possible for you to pursue your dreams? Remember, you too will be a senior citizen some day.

Now, since you asked for my sympathy, I can tell you what *I* think of your Eh Brah: WOW! You sure are YOUNG AT HEART! You sound like a whiney, snot-nosed trustifarian college drop out. It is sad that this discussion is dominated by how well MCDONALDS, CRIPSY CREME AND STARBUCKS can provide, for the elders of our society, a commodity that grows wild all over this island. There is wild coffee growing in the forests, from Ulumalu to Ulupalakua! If only some dynamic leader could arise, to organize foraging parties of senior citizens to harvest this sustainable, fair trade bounty. Then mill, roast, and grind the beans. Walkers are no obstacle, even in thicky vegetated steep muddy slopes. THE BARRIERS ARE IN YOUR MIND!
