Ignoble Distinction of the Week...

This week, the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), an international consortium whose member list includes Monsanto and Dow Chemical, named House Speaker Calvin Say and state Rep. Clift Tsuji "Legislators of the Year."

In a BIO release, Fred Perlack, president of the Hawaii Crop Improvement Association—also backed by Monsanto and Dow—praised Say and Tsuji as "vocal proponents of biotechnology," who "for the good of the state...have worked effectively and tirelessly to minimize policies that would otherwise negatively impact this vital industry."

ARE YOU FAWWWWKIN' KIDDIN' ME? SO THIS IS HOW IT FEELS TO BE PISSED ON BY YOUR GOVERNMENT!!! We have come to a time in American history where our politicians are bought and paid for by corporations such as Monsanto. It saddens me greatly to say our government is CORRUPT.

Tsuji sabotages food security in Hawaii
