They may not be able to win elections, but they sure can attract party heavyweights: After landing Karl Rove last year, the state GOP announced Newt Gingrich will headline the 2011 Lincoln Day fundraiser at Oahu's Hilton Hawaiian Village. (Top-tier tickets to the February 18 event cost $15,000 and include "VIP access," a "photo opportunity" and a signed copy of Gingrich's book, To Save America).
