    Borders Stays open, but not too long...
    March 02, 2011 | 01:22 PM

    I just want to say that I am glad the 2 remaining Borders stores, on Maui, are staying open. However, what the general public is finding out, the hard way, is that the Dairy Road store has reduced their hours of operation-significantly.
    They changed their hours, 2 weeks ago, without any notice to customers, until someone asked them to post a sign in their doorway, letting people know;
    (the sign is easily missed, as it is well below anyone's sight line).
    Old hours: 9:00am - 10:00pm Sun-Th., 9:00am - 11:00pm Fr. & Sat.= 93 hrs.
    New hours: 10:00am - 9:00pm M-Sat., 10:00am - 7:00pm Sun.= 75 hrs.
    That's a difference of 18 hours (less).
    As well, there have already been 2 Borders closures on Maui. The Borders Express store in Lahaina closed down just over a year ago, and the Borders Express store in Kihei closed it's doors just 2 months ago. So, to say that there hasn't been any Borders Books closures on Maui, is mis-information.

    Borders Hours

    Borders hasn't been open until 11:00 for awhile. Perhaps you would like to see them close for sure if they don't change hours at all.

    I LOVE BORDERS!
