GMO Kalo Is Not Harmful
October 03, 2009 | 12:19 PM

You're expanding the debate beyond the scope of my premise: there is no evidence that GMO Kalo is harmful. You're not interested in science, that much is obvious. Black, native american, white, polynesian, asian. It's all good. There is no reason to be misguided about science except for a lack of education or willful ignorance. The council made a political decision, not a scientific one. The other issues you address are separate and should be dealt with appropriately. Stream diversion and chemical additives need stronger regulation. GMO scare mongering, on the other-hand, is no better than the war on drugs, war on terror, etc. -- a complete disconnect from reality. Thank you for engaging me on this topic. As a biologist, it is important to me for the health of the third world and our planet.
