grandma florence

i grew up in lahaina and remember florence hasegawa's house in wahikuli . . . . it's awesome that she is still there! i recently purchased the dvd lahaina: waves of change and thoroughly enjoyed her interviews. what really intrigues me about florence is that she was born around the same time as my great grandmother hattie hoomanawanui-stephenson. my great grandmother was about 7 years older than florence and i am hoping that florence remembers her . . . . i am planning on shooting a documentary about my genealogy and hoping that florence remembers my great grandma. please pass on this information to her or her daughter pat . . . i live in vegas now, but will be coming back to maui hopefully in december . . . . my email address is jaysonbarangan@yahoo.com.
