They could have been whistling at you, but perhaps your conclusion that your daughter was the target reveals your own acknowledgment that sher dresses provocatively enough to provoke such cat-calls. As the parent you should be aware of the fact that she already understands how project herself sexually. If you are interested in protecting her innocence or morality, I suggest that threats of exposing her to physical violence will be counter to your goal.
