I live in Minnesota and was looking to consider a life change by moving to Hawaii. Its not right to ban pit bulls. I never been bit by one. I been bitten by labs more. My pit bull is not a violent dog. He loves and plays with the neighbors children. He crawls up on me and cuddles. He is a 50 lbs lap dog. Just like any dog. They act how u raise them. I had my dog since he was six weeks old. And now he two. This dog can do anything. He plays well, very athletic, and very protective, not just to me, but anyone he knows. I would fight to the death for my dog, because I know he would. Pit bulls are naturally aggressive, but you can controlled them. It all depends to on how much interaction they have with people and other dogs. Its wrong for people to use them for fighting, but on the other hand if my dog would fight it would be protecting me or someone else. If a dog came into my yard and attacked me or my children, I would not hesitate to let me dog help. A pit bull is a friend and family member in the right hands. But its just as dangerous as having a gun. Don't ban the dog, ban the owner
