Aloha, in spite of your efforts

So, I moved to the islands a long time ago, learned the language and can speak it better than most locals. I studied Hawaiian history and learned aloha. What did I get for all of this? More hate from some of the locals who couldn't give me the time of day and hated me all the more for learning "THEIR" language and customs. What a pack of racist jerks. Thanks for all the aloha.
