Babies and their mothers have a right to be in public -you are well into the realm of discrimination if you say otherwise. You can't always just go home each time you have to breastfeed. We are not talking about having the right to do "any you want" in society, we are talking about something as simple and essential as feeding, which the baby cannot survive without. So keeping breastfeeding away from the public is not an option, in a non-descriminating society.
As for the other "natural" things you mention, the big difference is, that breastfeeding in public is neither a health problem nor does it bother other peoples senses (except if you choose that as a cultural convention).
