Unions working against their own members

Tavares has consistently dropped the ball on getting us stimulus money for infrastructure projects and this is just the latest example. Kaua'i union members are already employed on a federally funded sewage treatment plant. Our members could be working too if Tavares weren't dragging her feet. She has NO plans ready for money because she's letting her incompetent Dept of Environmental Management stonewall.
I'm tired of our union leaders endorsing people like Tavares who aren't competent enough to get us a share of these Federal stimulus dollars.
