1. The person who invented Bop is from Chicago, probably the same person you're talking about! He moved to Maui in 2005.
2. There are meal plans at many of Burning Man's various camps - have you heard of Entheon Village? People camping at Entheon all chip in, help in the kitchen, and yes - pay money to have all of their meals taken care of - by one another. Same thing at Source. Some of the same people who work at Entheon are in fact the folks to help put together Source.
