Lounge Singers Galore

Wow. Seriously? How much more lame can this island get? Another night of Maui's lounge acts coming together to play more cover songs. Maui's music scene is this bad that every bar act in town comes together to play another bar...together! What's next? A tribute show to The Doors. How about the 3rd tribute show be of The Beatles? Maybe after that we can do a rendition of movie soundtracks. I guess this is why these acts are here on Maui, they lack any sense of originality. In all respect though, very cool that the proceeds go to help Anu with medical expenses, just wish a more original show could have taken place. Amazing that so many people here lack a sense of innovation to do something new or original. Obviously there's not much thinking happening in the think-tank for Shawn Michael and other promoters of this show.
