The actual date of Maui News article is Oct. 8th--Front page article or Akaku Tapes for Oct. 7th issue to deny Kula Ridge brought to Council by W. Nishiki. Lisa Gapero will do good things for Maui and will most likely run again as she had an outstanding showing of nearly 10,000 votes against Victorino and she did all that in under 4 months of filing to run for office. She can get another 10,000 next time because the new council members recently voted in are far and away more intellect than Mr. Victorino and will be movers and shakers leaving him pontificating and posturing while Maui moves forward without him!
