it is unbelievable that this creature is being consider a pest. I understand for those not used to its song can be quite a nuance. but to say that it is a pest is gong to far. Its song is appropriated by thousands in Puerto Rico, and they are all very able to speak on the phone and have casual conversation on the front porch with out screaming. I know this first hand... it might take a generation or tow but people will get used to the beautiful song of my precious coqui.
