print email Source: Editorial: Retired Colonel Ann Wright Discusses Why the War in Afghanistan is Unwinnable
Obama, Stop the Lies
January 24, 2011 | 05:51 AM

Ann Wright is correct. Many credible reporters and polls support her report from Afghanistan. We're near a tipping point on the opinion of American people, including congresspeople and their staffs, think tanks, and conservatives and liberals alike, that this war is "unwinnable", our reasons for being there were poor, we are not helping the Afghan people (except for the wealthy and corrupt element), we are killing innocent citizens, and we are throwing money at Afghan. We're spending a huge amount of money that is all borrowed, much of it from China and contributing to the devastation of our economy. Obama and other leaders need to change this policy and lead us out. And we have to make it clear that this is what we want them to do this.
