I was raised around police officers my entire childhood & I have lost close friends in the line of duty. I fully respect the ones who are honest, lawful, & put their lives on the line everyday.

Google has info on Officer Nelson Johnson of MPD. Info as an officer of the law is openly available:

35. JOHNSON rolled down his window he yelled at Plaintiff. as long as you're
on this island, make sure you can not call 911 again.
37. Plaintiff watched JOHNSON drive away: another police officer stopped at
Plaintiffs car and asked if she was ok, suggesting, she should call the watch
commander to report the incident as she described it.
38. Plaintiff was scared to report the incident when another police officer told
plaintiff to watch out for Johnson, - he's a bad cop" he shot and killed a girl at
Pala, and he's known to plant drugs in vehicle.

2. Johnson: A cop from Makawao who shot an unarmed woman Jan 24, 2004 2 weeks after Astara Evenstar was murdered. He was given 3 months paid vacation following this incident. I heard that that the woman he murdered was pregnant by him, and he is a married man.
