Im glad you hate the sugar cane so much. Let's just get rid of all the cane and build more hotels, malls and track housing. Let's build more roads, bring in more vehicles. That certainly doesnt cause pollution. I remember as a kid a bunch of you transplants that moved to Kihei and Wailea paid for your own study to show how much "pollution" burning cane and the mill produced. Can you guess how well that went seeing as how the mill is still there? As a matter of fact, the study showed that the people that grew up around mill and fields had far better health than the assholes complaining. I'm sure you don't realize how much oxygen the cane produces and actually cleans up the air greater than anything else on Maui and by burning the cane they don't have to bring in special machines that cause worse pollution. But I guess your just one of those writers that talks out of his ass to get people on his side instead of really researching what he's talking about. Fuck Mauitime
