Case Shoots Self in Foot

Case thinks Sen. Inouye is out to get him for running against Sen Akaka. But Case just keeps doing more and more things to piss Democrats off.

In his latest (unsuccessful) run at this coveted Senate seat, he's spending so much time on pathetic disses of Mazie Hirono, that a whole new generation of Democrats are getting irritated with him...people with NOTHING in common with Sen Inouye.

The fact that the Maui News just endorsed Case along with Lingle is a HUGE slap in the face to Case and his pretensions of being a Democrat. (Maui News makes no secret of their support of the GOP and Chamber of Commerce)

If Case would spend as much time dissing Lingle (who one would think is the REAL opponent) perhaps he'd have one or two people show up at his Maui sign wavings.

But people in Hawai'i know what they'll get if they elect Case - a warmonger, a Blue Dog, a supporter of GOP-style "fiscal responsibility" which translates to cutting social programs and throwing money at the military. A hawk who feels we should go to war in the mideast to "support American interests".

For heaven's sake, the man actually voted in favor of a GOP resolution to de-fund family planning programs when we foolishly elected him to Congress last time.

Long time Hawai'i residents don't need a debate to know that Case's Blue Dog history is bad for Hawai'i
