I was waiting for a ride outside of the Cannery Mall and a group of illegal Mexican immigrant youths dressed in their gang style clothing were listening to loud offensive music, totally disregarding an older gentleman who was seated on a bench next to them. How dare you come onto this island and behave in this manner. I felt threatened by your presence and offended by your (f this, f that) music. I can only imagine how the older man felt seated next to you. Then I became angry that you are intruding on our otherwise peaceful space. Go home to where you came from if you cannot respect the community or our elders. Legal or illegal you are VISITING and you should show some respect! You have far better things to do with your lives than devote it toward gangs and violence. Be smart and contribute towards the community, not against it. Violence and crime will only get you a prison sentence, there's no doubt. And who within our infrastructure allows the incoming presence of illegal immigrants? I want to know.
