"Truly Solid" September 21, 2008 | 09:59 AM
As much as I appreciate it, and as really good as it is to see this article has finally been written, I am amazed at your lack of content or expression regarding drummer Josh Greenbaum. And, speaking of "pitiful understatement"s, "truly solid" tops the list. I have seen Vince with a few different drummers over the years, and Josh is light years beyond any other drummer Vince ever had. His drumming at minimum is not just about being "solid" (though that may be a most important factor and he is definitely very much so solid), but as you write about Vince, I am amazed that Mr. Greenbaum didn't even get ONE of your flashy adjectives - "wildly creative" and "breathing room". I don't disagree at all regarding Vince, but there are 3 members, and one of them received an undue and extra small fraction of acknowledgment he so deserves. You even (also duly) wrote a couple of paragraphs on Mr. Michael. By the way, I happen to know a bit about Josh's history... Did you take the time to check out what he's done, where, and with whom? I seriously doubt it, because I know this article would have read much different if you had.
