While reading the article, I got chicken-skin all over my body~
As someone who also works closely w/DOE, it breaks my heart to see that money is spent in ALL the wrong places while kids need TRUE guidance -- and if it means surfing then so be it!
I know Mr. Ball indirectly as he coached a relative at LHS and if it weren't for that sport, I'm sure my relative would have gone down a challenging path in his young life.
Who cares about the bowlers? DOE is worried about sharks attacking our students? What about the building collapsing at the bowling alley?
