[POETRY READING] Eric Paul Shaffer is one of the best poets on Maui. He's written a bunch of poetry books including Portable Planet, Lahaina Noon and Living at the Monastery, Working in the Kitchen. He's also a charter member of the Ancient Order of the Fire Gigglers, whatever the hell that is. He also spent eight years living on the island of Okinawa for some reason. Oh, and he's also contributed some very good writing to this publication, and since we'd like that relationship to continue, we're going to end by saying that you should all go listen to him read some of his best work while it's still National Poetry Month.
