This goes out to the new owners of what used to be my favorite local Kahului. My friends made reservations weeks ahead of to make sure we had a place to enjoy each other's company on Cinco de Mayo. But as soon as we sat down, we were told that we had a time limit. How unprofessional, considering that we were going to order an endless stream of apps, dinners and drinks. Yet you insisted on giving us hard looks as we ate. You tried to pull away our plates before we were finished. You told us we had to go after we had just ordered deserts and more drinks. We may not been up to your flashy tastes but remember that it's us everyday locals who keep your business up and running during the slow season. We know this, because we're business owners, too. The sad thing was that we left after dessert because we all had to work the next day. But since you tossed us out at 7:30 you had the whole night ahead of you to treat others like crap for profit. You suck.
